Job summary

West Texas Centers is seeking Direct Service Professionals (DSPs) to join our team in providing individualized support in residential and day programs. DSPs assist individuals with activities of daily living and community supports under HHSC and related standards.

Qualified applicants have a high school diploma or GED, or three letters of reference from non-relatives, plus a competency test. Valid driver’s license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED accepted; competency test required.
• Letters of reference must be from non-family members.
• Must be able to read and write proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist consumers with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide lifting, repositioning, and transferring assistance.
• Deliver personal care safely and respectfully.
