Job summary

West Texas Centers is seeking Direct Service Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with IDD in residential and community settings. The role emphasizes compassionate care, safety, and promoting independence through daily living activities.

You will work flexible schedules and enjoy health insurance, holidays, PTO, and EAP. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with three references and a competency test.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three letters of reference from non-family references.
• Completion of WTC competency test.
• Proficiency in reading and writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting as needed.
• Provide lifting, repositioning, and transferring assistance safely.
• Deliver personal care in the least intrusive manner possible.
• Support individuals in daily living activities in residential or day habilitation settings.
