American Residential Services (ARS) is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician in Austin, TX. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, heat pumps, and air conditioners, while delivering excellent customer service and adhering to safety and code standards.

The role offers year‑round, full‑time work with earning potential between $80,000 and $100,000 annually, plus benefits and company vehicle.

Qualifications

• EPA certification universal preferred
• TDLR license preferred
• Clean driving record required
• Ability to access attics and crawlspaces safely
• Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose residential HVAC systems (furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioning)
• Perform HVAC repairs, service calls, and preventive maintenance
• Identify system issues and recommend heating and cooling solutions
• Ensure all service work meets company standards and local code
• Communicate clearly with homeowners about performance and repairs
• Deliver professional customer service while completing HVAC service and repair tasks
