Job summary

John C. Flood is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain homes in Northern Virginia.

You’ll follow a Sunday–Thursday schedule with Fridays and Saturdays off, and you’ll have the opportunity to earn bonuses and a take‑home company vehicle. Qualifications

• Three (3)+ years of residential HVAC service experience.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills.
• Experience servicing and repairing residential HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential HVAC systems.
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and testing on furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, and indoor air quality equipment.
• Work safely in attics, crawlspaces, and other residential environments when necessary.
• Educate homeowners and provide detailed repair and replacement options.
• Present financing and maintenance plan options when appropriate.
• Ensure systems are operating safely and efficiently.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience on every call.
• Collaborate with dispatch and customer service teams to provide seamless service.
• Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and job site.
• Complete invoices, documentation, and service records accurately and promptly.
• Participate in ongoing training and company meetings.
