Job summary

Russo Bros. & Co. is seeking experienced Residential HVAC Service Technicians to join our team in East Hanover, NJ. We offer competitive hourly pay and weekly bonus opportunities, with two schedule options to provide weekdays off while maintaining a five-day workweek.

Responsibilities include diagnosing, serving, and repairing residential HVAC systems, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining proper documentation. Training and certifications support are available as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of residential HVAC service and/or installation experience.
• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems and service/installation phases.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC equipment.
• Ability to explain technical issues clearly to homeowners.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to complete service documentation and follow reporting standards.
• Commitment to safety procedures and processes.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair residential HVAC systems.
• Perform thorough HVAC inspections and communicate findings and options to homeowners.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience while resolving issues efficiently.
• Maintain communication with Dispatch, manager, Parts, and Installation teams.
• Complete service documentation, invoices, and reporting accurately and on time.
• Maintain organized, clean, and stocked company vehicle.
• Follow safety procedures and industry best practices in the field.
• Participate in ongoing technical and professional training.
• Obtain and maintain required certifications; company can assist with additional certifications.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
