$2,500 Hiring BONUS and additional bonus after first year. We will match vacation and sick time.

Ohio Heating & Refrigeration is seeking motivated professional Service Technicians to join our team in Columbus, Ohio.

We have openings for Residential Service HVAC techs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

1. Diagnosing, repairing, service, and preventative maintenance on various types of residential HVAC systems.
2. Operation of a variety of hand and power tools to inspect, repair, and conduct maintenance on HVAC equipment.
3. Document service performed as well as recommendations made by completing forms, reports, logs, and/or records.
4. Observes safety and security procedures; determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

1. Previous experience and/or education in HVAC or other related fields.
2. Ability to work with minimal oversight and follow directions when provided.
3. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
4. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to adapt to changes in their work environment.
6. Possess exceptional work ethics as well as uphold company values.

Job Requirements:

1. Valid Ohio driver’s license with a clean driving record.
2. Be physically able to complete the tasks at hand.
3. A valid EPA certification.
4. Must pass a background check and random drug testing.
