Job summary

TradeWorX is seeking experienced Residential HVAC Service Technicians for full-time opportunities in the Cleveland, Ohio area. The role focuses on residential service, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair while supporting commercial work as needed.

The ideal candidate has hands-on HVAC experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently or with homeowners. EPA 608 certification is preferred and reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems.

• Test systems and verify proper operation after repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and identify equipment concerns.
• Explain repair findings professionally to customers.
• Support commercial HVAC work when needed and within experience level.

TradeWorX is hiring experienced Residential HVAC Service Technicians for full-time opportunities in the Cleveland, Ohio area. The primary need is residential service, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair. Technicians with commercial HVAC experience are also encouraged to apply, especially those with strong troubleshooting skills who are comfortable supporting both residential and commercial work.

• Pay & Overtime: $28.00-$36.00 per hour based on HVAC service experience, troubleshooting ability, certifications, and overall skill level. Overtime may be available based on workload.

Schedule: Full-time schedule. Exact daily hours and overtime expectations will be reviewed during the interview process.

Job Duties:

• Diagnose, service, maintain, and repair residential heating and cooling systems
• Troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, airflow, thermostat, and mechanical HVAC issues
• Perform system testing and verify proper operation after repairs
• Complete preventive maintenance and identify equipment concerns
• Explain repair findings and system conditions professionally to customers
• Support commercial HVAC service or installation work when needed and within experience level

Requirements:

• Previous hands-on HVAC service, maintenance, or repair experience
• Ability to troubleshoot HVAC systems independently
• Experience using meters, gauges, hand tools, and standard HVAC diagnostic equipment
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability
• Reliable transportation and ability to work throughout the Cleveland area
• EPA 608 certification preferred for refrigerant-related work
