Airtron Heating & Air Conditioning of Columbus is currently hiring for a full-time Residential HVAC Service Tech to deliver exceptional heating and cooling services to our customers in the Columbus, OH area. This HVAC technician position earns a competitive wage of $17-$30/hour, depending on experience. Those with 3+ years of HVAC Service Experience are eligible for a $1000 sign-on bonus.

DAY-TO-DAY

In this HVAC technician position, you are courteous towards customers as you perform maintenance and repairs on their heating and cooling equipment. You are well-trained and confident in the services you provide which often include inspecting ducting and materials, troubleshooting equipment, and recording necessary information. Once you have performed the proper system inspection, you are quick to inform dispatch of your findings in order to offer the best ongoing service.

For each appointment, you are prepared with the necessary parts and tools. You are organized and efficient when accounting for all tools used, and you are always sure to keep your work vehicle clean. You are conscientious about safety and cleanliness, which is why you take care to follow company standards. As a team player, you're happy to work with your supervisor when needed. Every day you learn something new, and you find it rewarding to be growing in this exciting heating and cooling career.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A RESIDENTIAL HVAC SERVICE TECH

• Valid driver's license
• High school diploma or GED OR equivalent experience
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis
• Ability to perform the physical requirements such as climbing a ladder, stooping, and kneeling
• Basic computer skills including the internet, email, and Microsoft Outlook
• Ability to work overtime and weekends

An EPA certification as well as prior related experience are a plus but not required.
