Job summary

Airtron Heating & Air Conditioning - Columbus is seeking a dedicated HVAC Systems Finishing Technician in Columbus, OH. This role focuses on completing the final phase of installation and ensuring each system performs to design specifications.

You will install finishing components, wire and connect systems, perform leak checks and system charging, and start-up equipment while making adjustments to meet performance standards. Overtime and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• HVAC installation experience and ability to read plans.
• Fluent in English with good communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions.
• Willing to O/T and some weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Complete final stage of installation and ensure systems are operational.
• Install finishing components: registers, grills, fans, thermostats; wire and connect systems.
• Perform leak checks, system charging, and start-up; adjust for performance.
• Address installation issues and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Follow company and manufacturer requirements; work in outdoor conditions as needed.
• Maintain safety and quality while meeting deadlines.

Airtron Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a full-time HVAC Systems Finishing Technician in Columbus, OH. This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership of the final phase of installation and ensures every system performs as designed.

WHAT ARE THE HOURS?

This is a full-time position with the expectation of overtime and occasional weekend work as needed.

WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ENTAIL?

As our HVAC Systems Finishing Technician, you'll complete the final stage of installation and ensure systems are fully operational. You'll also install finishing components such as registers, grills, fans, and thermostats, connect and wire systems, and perform leak checks and system charging. You'll start up equipment, verify proper system function, and make necessary adjustments to meet performance standards. You'll also address minor installation issues, maintain a clean work area, and ensure each project is completed in accordance with company and manufacturer requirements, often working in outdoor conditions.
