Job Title: HVAC Service & Install Technician

Salary: $25 - $40+/hr (based on experience)

Job Overview:

Martinelli Plumbing & Heating Inc. is seeking a skilled HVAC Service & Repair Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will repair, replace, and install residential heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems. This includes ductwork, line sets, push/pull installations, and working in older homes with plaster walls-we open up but do not close up.

Responsibilities Include, but Are Not Limited To:

• Repair, replace, and install residential HVAC systems, including ductwork, line sets, push/pull installations, and unit swaps
• Work on older homes, including plaster wall openings (no closing required)
• Diagnose and troubleshoot heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration issues
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure system efficiency and longevity
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to execute installations and repairs accurately
• Work cleanly and courteously in customers' homes, educating customers on the best solutions without overselling
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal HVAC regulations
• Adhere to safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and industry best practices
• Work in varying weather conditions and lift heavy equipment as needed

Qualifications:

• Experience in a similar HVAC service role (training provided on company-specific processes)
• EPA Certification required
• HVAC Journeyman license preferred but not required
• Backflow Certification preferred but not required
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics
• OSHA, Fall Protection, and Lift Certifications are a plus
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Schedule
