Job summary

Atlantic Heating & Air Conditioning Co., Inc. in Brookline, MA is seeking a Residential HVAC Project Manager to oversee planning, coordination, and execution of residential HVAC projects from start to finish.

You will ensure projects are on time, within budget, and meet quality standards while communicating with homeowners, builders, subcontractors, and internal teams. Responsibilities include scheduling, budgeting, field coordination, and ensuring compliance with codes and manufacturer

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of HVAC installation, service, or project management experience (residential preferred).
• Strong understanding of HVAC equipment, duct design, piping, controls and installation practices.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with project management software, email, and digital documentation.
• Must be in good physical condition able to lift 50 pounds occasionally, work in attics/crawl spaces and on ladders.
• Must be able to deal with stressful situations with good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, coordination, and execution of residential HVAC projects from start to finish.
• Manage project schedules, labor plans, and material/equipment lists.
• Coordinate with installation teams and with the Installation Manager for scheduling and labor requirements.
• Conduct site visits to ensure accuracy and quality before, during, and after installation.
• Identify field issues and resolve them with installers, technicians, or subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, permits, and manufacturer requirements.
• Maintain primary communication with homeowners, builders, GC partners, and internal teams.
• Track budgets, change orders, and cost deviations; close out projects with proper documentation.
