Byrum Heating & A/C, a NearU company, is seeking a Residential HVAC Installer to join our team. You will install residential and light commercial HVAC systems, review job requirements, and maintain safety and quality standards while delivering professional service to customers.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of installation experience, EPA Type II or Universal Certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50+ pounds in attics or crawl spaces.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HVAC installation experience.
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds and work in attics/crawl spaces.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Professional communication and customer service.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including equipment, ductwork, and ventilation components.
• Review job requirements and materials prior to installation.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Ensure installations meet code requirements and company standards.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Complete installation notes, documentation, and equipment registration.
• Assist in training junior team members when needed.
