Byrum Heating & A/C, a NearU company, is seeking a skilled Residential HVAC Installer to join our team. You will install residential and light commercial systems, review job requirements, and ensure installations meet code and company standards with safe, high‑quality workmanship.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of HVAC installation experience, EPA Type II or Universal Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days), and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• HVAC installation experience required; residential focus.
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in attics/crawlspaces.

Responsibilities

• Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including equipment, ductwork, and ventilation components.
• Review job requirements and materials prior to installation.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Ensure installations meet code requirements and company standards.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Complete installation notes, documentation, and equipment registration.
• Assist in training junior team members when needed.
