Byrum Heating & A/C, a NearU company, is seeking a skilled Residential HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate installs residential and light commercial systems and takes pride in quality workmanship and customer service.

You will review job requirements, follow safety guidelines, and ensure installations meet code and company standards. Strong communication, a valid driver1s license, and EPA Type II or Universal certification (or plan to obtain within 90 days) are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HVAC installation experience.
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
• Valid driver1s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in attics, crawlspaces, and varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including equipment, ductwork, and ventilation components.
• Review job requirements and materials prior to installation.
• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Ensure installations meet code requirements and company standards.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Complete installation notes, documentation, and equipment registration.
• Assist in training junior team members when needed.
