Job summary

Loren's Heating and Air in Salem, OR, is hiring a Residential HVAC Installer to perform residential and light commercial installations and repairs. Expect to work with a journeyman, learn on the job, and pursue EPA/NATE/Carrier certifications.

The role demands reading blueprints, following technical instructions, and lifting up to 50 lbs. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; HVAC trade school certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years field installation experience.
• EPA Universal 608 Certification.
• Proficient in HVAC design and ductwork installation.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand technical instructions.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school HVAC certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Residential and light commercial HVAC installations.
• Working with and learning from a journeyman.
• Installing gas pipe, refrigeration pipe, gas and electric furnaces, heat pumps, geothermal, radiant heat, etc.
• Troubleshooting installations.
• Consult on repairs, upgrades, IAQ accessories, and replacement options.
• Gain hands-on training and industry certifications (EPA, NATE, Carrier Factory).

We've been providing heating and cooling service to the residents of Salem and surrounding areas since 1973! We provide service, maintenance, repair or installation for residential homeowners and commercial properties with their heating, cooling, and indoor air quality needs.

Residential HVAC Installer | $28.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on experience

Work Hours:

Monday through Friday | 40 hours per week | with 4/10's available seasonally | overtime available

What you will be doing:

• Residential and light commercial HVAC installations
• Working with and learning form a journeyman
• Installing Gas Pipe, Refrigeration Pipe, Gas and electric furnace, Heat Pump, Geothermal, Radiant Heat ect.
• Troubleshooting installations
• Consult on customer on repair, upgrades, IAQ accessories, and replacement options
• Gaining hand on training and industry certifications: EPA Certifications, NATE's, and Carrier Factory training

What We Are Looking For:

• 2 + years field installation experience
• EPA Universal 608 Certification
• Proficient in all HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems
• Ability to follow blueprints and understand technical instructions
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in HVAC from a Trade School - Desired
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
