Bayonet Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a Residential HVAC Estimator for a full‑time onsite role. You will lead estimating for both production and custom residential projects, ensuring accurate pricing and profitability while collaborating across operations and leadership.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of residential HVAC estimating, strong knowledge of HVAC systems and load calculations, and advanced Excel skills with estimating software experience.

Qualifications

• 7+ years residential HVAC estimating experience (production builder experience strongly preferred).
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, duct design, equipment selection, and load calculations
• Proven experience supporting high‑volume builder environments
• Solid financial and cost‑analysis skills
• Advanced Excel skills; estimating software experience required
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC estimating for production and custom residential projects
• Establish and maintain standardized estimating processes, templates, and pricing models
• Review and validate bids for scope accuracy, code compliance, and profitability
• Support branch teams in meeting builder bid deadlines
• Coordinate and review HVAC load calculations and system designs

Residential HVAC Estimator – full‑time onsite position. This is a key leadership role for an experienced HVAC estimator who thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced, production‑builder environment and understands the financial importance of disciplined, accurate estimating.

Position Overview

The Residential HVAC Estimator will oversee estimating operations supporting multiple branches, working closely with operations, purchasing, and executive leadership. This role is in‑office to ensure real‑time collaboration, accountability, and consistency across our estimating and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC estimating for production and custom residential projects
• Establish and maintain standardized estimating processes, templates, and pricing models
