Uncle Mike's Home Service LLC in Monmouth, Ocean, and Middlesex counties is seeking a Service Technician to perform direct residential thermal diagnostics, maintenance, and customer care for a high-density market.

You will manage your daily dispatch, diagnose complex HVAC issues, and communicate findings clearly to homeowners while upholding safety and quality. The role offers full-time hours, a Monday–Friday schedule with weekend availability as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of field HVAC service experience.
• EPA 608 Certification required for refrigerant handling.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within territory.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with independent work.
• Excellent communication and professional demeanor in homes.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics, mechanical repairs, and preventative maintenance on residential HVAC units.
• Explain malfunctions and repair options clearly to homeowners.
• Capture airflow, refrigeration, and electrical performance readings accurately.
• Conduct seasonal tune-ups and complex diagnostic service evaluations.
• Record findings, recommendations, and parts in the database.
• Manage tools, testing equipment, and service vehicle.
• Follow environmental safety protocols and refrigerant handling regulations.
