Job summary

Uncle Mike’s Home Service LLC is seeking a Service Technician to perform direct residential thermal diagnostics, system maintenance, and customer care across a high-density market. This full-time position offers autonomy to manage daily dispatches, while serving as the technical consultant for homeowners and contributing to client retention.

You will diagnose and repair HVAC systems, communicate issues clearly, and document findings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of verified field experience specializing in residential HVAC service and mechanical systems.
• Active EPA 608 Certification required to handle refrigerants.
• Valid driver’s license with good standing.
• Proven troubleshooting capabilities to isolate electrical and mechanical failures independently.
• Strong customer communication and professional demeanor while working in homes.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on residential HVAC units.
• Explain malfunctions and repair paths clearly to homeowners.
• Record findings and parts in the service database.
• Manage service tools, equipment, and company vehicle responsibly.
• Adhere to environmental safety protocols and regulations when handling refrigerants.
