Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness of common living areas and resident apartments in the Simpsonville community. The role includes cleaning, laundry, and reporting maintenance needs. Must be able to work weekends and holidays and lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and prior housekeeping experience. Strong teamwork and reliability are essential to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Housekeeping experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to complete assignments thoroughly and on time.
• Ability to work well with others as part of a team.
• Polite and courteous to all residents, visitors, co-workers and management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cleaning of the entire facility, with emphasis on common areas and apartment bathrooms.
• Complete maintenance request reports when needed.
• Report deterioration or damage to the building and furnishings to housekeeping supervisor.
• Operate the laundry equipment when needed.
• Follow all cleaning product guidelines and store supplies properly.
• Clean office areas when assigned.
• Dust and clean window blinds, furniture, and shelves in resident areas.
• Vacuum common areas and resident apartments.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas and resident bathrooms.
• Clean apartments at resident move-out.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
