Responsibilities

• Cleans and keeps an orderly condition of health care facilities, residence halls, school, office buildings or similar buildings.
• Maintains floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, buffing, polishing and vacuuming.
• Empties trash and garbage containers.
• Cleans and restocks restrooms.
• Cleans glass inside reachable areas.
• Cleans furniture.
• Makes beds (when applicable).
• Notifies supervisor concerning repairs or lighting/heating/ventilation needs.
• Spot cleans carpets by hand or machine.
• Washes walls.
• Cleans lounges and kitchenettes.
• Completes basic cleaning duties as assigned.
• May assist with limited food service tasks and meal service per posted menus.
• Performs other duties related to the position.
• Ensures employment documentation is maintained and renewed timely.
