Job summary

Monroe Group LTD seeks a dedicated housekeeper to maintain a clean, sanitary, and orderly environment for residents, staff, and visitors across our properties in the Kansas City area. Follow instructions for handling, cleaning, disposing, and moving objects/materials.

Responsibilities include cleaning halls, common areas, and vacant units, coordinating with supervision, managing supplies and equipment, posting notices, assisting in community events, decorating for holidays, and supporting

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of housekeeping experience in an affordable housing environment.
• Must be able to work assigned hours as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning of halls, common areas, and vacant units, including floors, walls, doors, bathrooms, windows and appliances as instructed.
• Develops property cleaning schedule with supervisor for adequate coverage of buildings and grounds.
• Maintains appropriate levels of cleaning supply inventory
• Maintains cleaning equipment in working order
• Post notices as needed.
• Work with maintenance and community manager for scheduling of vacant unit cleaning.
• Decorate for the holidays including the hanging of decorations.
• Assist in community meetings, holiday functions and special resident requests as needed.
