Job summary

Prismhr Hire is seeking a Housekeeper in Kansas City, KS area to maintain cleanliness and safety in guest rooms, offices, and common areas. You will clean, sanitize, restock supplies, and ensure a welcoming environment for guests and staff.

The role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training may be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in housekeeping/janitorial/hospitality preferred but not required.
• On-the-job training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize assigned rooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper products, towels, and toiletries.
• Change linens and make beds as required.
• Clean windows, mirrors, fixtures, and furniture.
• Report maintenance issues to management.
• Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment per SDS and procedures.
• Follow infection control and sanitation standards.
• Maintain storage areas and cleaning carts neatly.
• Assist with deep cleaning and special projects.
• Adhere to attendance and professionalism standards.
