Job summary

Venture Community Services is seeking a House Manager to supervise Direct Support Professionals, oversee day-to-day residential operations, and ensure health and safety of persons served. The role requires empathy, teamwork, and strong administrative skills, with a schedule aligned to Mon/Wed/Fri 9a-5p and Tue/Thu 12p-8p.

The position is full-time (40 hours) and pays $23.50–$25.00 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, 403(b), life insurance, and a $1,000 sign-on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in human services.
• One year of experience in human services preferred.
• Must be 21+ years old, have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a work-site aligned with the Agency’s core values and policies.
• Ensures compliance with DDS regulations (115 CMR).
• Oversees house operations and services reflecting Quality of Life Areas.
• Promotes confidentiality and HIPPA compliance; protects rights of persons served and staff.
• Acts as Human Rights Officer and trains staff on Human Rights requirements.
• Maintains a home-like, clean and compliant residence per policies.
• Communicates with parents, guardians and program staff regularly.
• Coaches, trains, and develops high-performing teams.
