Overview

Aspire Living & Learning provides person-centered services for neurodiverse individuals across New England and Maryland. We support education, behavioral health, residential and community-based services to help people live more independently, guided by their interests and strengths. We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Program Manager to oversee day-to-day operations for adults with developmental disabilities, ensuring that all supported individuals receive appropriate clinical and medical services. The role includes mentoring, developing and supervising shift supervisors and direct care staff, ensuring adherence to DDS, funding agency and state regulations, managing staffing schedules, and assisting with clinical and ISP assessments. The Program Manager may assume on-call responsibilities as required and will work with the People Team to plan corrective actions when necessary.

Salary: $48,000 annually

Schedule: Varies / Must be Flexible

Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day operations for adults with developmental disabilities and ensure appropriate clinical and medical services are provided.
  • Mentor, develop, and supervise shift supervisors and direct care staff.
  • Ensure adherence to DDS, funding agency and state regulations; maintain and monitor staffing schedules.
  • Assist with writing clinical assessments and overseeing ISP assessments; participate in on-call coverage as required.
  • Assist and instruct individuals in all aspects of IP, administer medications when required, and provide in-house and agency-contracted training and consultation services.
  • Adhere to budgetary guidelines and assist with program planning and corrective actions as needed.
  • Support residents with daily living skills, behavioral and habilitative plans, medical, psychiatric and socio-emotional needs.
  • Collaborate with the People Team to implement corrective actions when necessary.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field, or equivalent education/experience required.
  • Experience supporting individuals with disabilities and challenging behaviors.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Basic computer skills; Therap experience a plus.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Empathy, enthusiasm, and a strong dedication to helping others.
  • In some locations, a valid US driver’s license, vehicle and auto insurance may be required, with at least 3 years of driving experience. Access to reliable transportation is required; some positions may require use of a personal vehicle to transport supported individuals, depending on program needs.
