The Position

Castle High Value is seeking self-directed independent contractors to work remotely and service both virtual and physical survey/inspection assignments in the Baltimore, MD area and within a 75-mile radius of Baltimore.

Experience in real estate, insurance, inspection, construction, or appraising is a plus, but all interested candidates are encouraged to apply. A 15-hour online training course can certify you. Fees are negotiable based on experience and the specifics of each job.

You will be responsible for scheduling and conducting site-based and virtual High Value Home property surveys for homeowners’ insurance purposes. This involves managing your schedule, work assignments, and completing reports online, requiring solid computer skills.

Primary Requirements:

• Professional interaction over the phone, email, and in person with homeowners and insurance agents
• Conducting on-site and/or virtual property surveys on high-value homes following client guidelines
• Identifying and documenting construction materials, characteristics, and unique features of the home
• Measuring the home and other structures on the property
• Estimating the replacement value of the home and identifying major hazards
• Communicating findings during inspections via web-based forms on the Castle website
