Job summary

The NEEDS Center, a Massachusetts-based nonprofit serving adults with autism and other developmental disabilities, seeks a House Manager for our Boxford residential group home. The role includes 2nd shift, nights, weekends, and a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Full-time with overtime eligibility.

Responsibilities cover role-modeling for staff, supervising coordinators, overseeing daily operations, and hands-on care support as needed, along with reporting and record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, not required.
• At least 2 years of experience in a residential environment with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities.
• Supervisory or lead experience (can be in a different industry).
• Good communication (verbal and written) skills.
• MAP Certification required.
• Valid Mass or NH driver’s license (or able to get one in 60 days).

Responsibilities

• Serving as a role model for staff in client programming, services and professional practice.
• Supervising Assistant Program Coordinator and Program Specialist staff.
• Overseeing day-to-day operation of a residential program for adults with autism.
• Schedule includes evening and weekend shifts.
• On ratio 3–4 days per week and assisting with hands-on direct care (bathe, dress, groom, etc.).
• Prepare and monitor reports, including data collection, medication logs, financial records and team records.
