Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking a Technical Training Manager in Olathe, KS to design and deliver hands-on technical training, covering residential garage doors and eventual expansion to commercial applications.

This role will own onboarding through skill progression, ensuring safe, consistent technician performance across DH Pace locations. The position requires 5+ years of hands-on installation/service experience, ability to teach adults, and strong safety acumen.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience installing, servicing, or repairing residential garage doors and openers; direct garage door experience preferred.
• Ability to teach adults in shop, field or vocational settings; formal trainer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and update technical curricula for technicians.
• Deliver onboarding and hands-on training; supervise labs and field sessions.
• Assess competency with practical demonstrations and document readiness.
• Coach branch managers and technicians to ensure consistent on-the-job training.
• Embed safety across modules and coordinate with safety, operations, and employee relations.
