Job summary

ProLift Garage Doors of Matthews is seeking an experienced Garage Door Technician for a full-time role. You will be responsible for the repair and installation of garage doors throughout the Southeast Charlotte area, including Waxhaw, Ballantyne, and Matthews.

The technician role offers a competitive hourly rate, potential commissions, and a 401(k) plan. Successful candidates may have the opportunity to move into Operational Management after a year of good performance. Candidates should have relevant experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Previous experience servicing/installing garage doors, with knowledge of principles, techniques, equipment and supplies.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Repair various types of garage doors and openers.
• Select appropriate solutions, ensuring safety, functionality, and performance.
• Install garage doors.

Skills

Mechanical aptitude and skilled use of hand and power tools

Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships

Team player with strong collaboration skills

Self-starter capable of operating independently

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
