Job summary

Optimum Leap LLC in Houston, TX seeks a Residential Facility Treatment Director to lead our team and oversee high-quality care, clinical programming, and facility operations.

You will supervise staff, develop individualized treatment plans, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate resident care with families and external partners. The role requires strong leadership, trauma-informed practices, and the ability to manage budgets, staffing, and reporting to meet HHSC standards.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
  • Active licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in residential treatment or behavioral health settings.
  • Proven leadership and program management experience in a clinical environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Texas HHSC licensing standards and residential care regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and evidence-based treatment models.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily clinical and operational functions of the residential treatment facility
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans and therapeutic programming
  • Supervise, mentor, and support clinical and direct care staff to ensure quality service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies
