Job summary

ARBORS MANAGEMENT, INC is seeking a Maintenance & Facilities Worker to manage two residential high-rise properties in Pittsburgh. The role blends entry-level building maintenance with custodial care of common areas, focusing on keeping lobbies, hallways, elevators, and amenities clean and safe.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years of general maintenance, are tech-savvy with mobile work orders, and enjoy working directly with residents.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of general maintenance or handyman experience.
• Residential high-rise experience is a plus.
• Comfort using smartphones/tablets for work orders and comms.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• General repairs: basic plumbing, electrical, drywall patching, and light painting.
• Common-area custodial: keep lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairs, and amenities clean and sanitized daily.
• Apartment turns: prep work, cleaning, touch-up painting and minor repairs for vacants.
• Digital work orders: use a mobile app to receive, update, and close requests.
• Resident service: provide prompt, courteous, and friendly service while resolving requests.
