Job summary

Morins Exteriors in Proctor, Minnesota, is seeking a Residential Exterior Carpenter to install siding, seamless gutters, trim, flashing, windows, and doors on residential remodeling projects.

This full-time W2 position requires experience in exterior carpentry, home remodeling, siding, windows, or gutters. You will work with a crew to complete projects safely, efficiently, and per Morins’ quality standards, with reliable year-round scheduling and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum experience in residential exterior carpentry, remodeling, siding, windows or gutters.
• Proficient measuring, layout, cutting, fitting and exterior installation.
• Reliable, professional, and able to work as part of a crew.
• Willing to learn digital systems including JobNimbus and QuickBooks Workforce.

Responsibilities

• Install seamless gutters, downspouts, siding, exterior trim and flashing.
• Install windows and doors to be square, level, plumb, sealed and weather-protected.
• Measure, cut, position and finish materials with precision.
• Maintain safe, clean, and productive job sites.
• Complete work from ladders, near roofs, and in attic spaces when needed.
• Record hours, materials, and project updates in JobNimbus and QuickBooks Workforce.

Role Summary

Morins Exteriors is looking for a Residential Exterior Carpenter to install siding, seamless gutters, trim, flashing, windows, and doors on residential remodeling projects.

This is an active field position intended for someone with experience in exterior carpentry, home remodeling, siding, windows, gutters, or another residential installation trade. You will work alongside other crew members to finish projects safely, efficiently, and in accordance with Morins' quality requirements.

The successful candidate will be reliable, attentive to detail, comfortable working outside and at elevated heights, and committed to delivering a clean, polished result at every home.

Primary Duties

• Install seamless gutter systems, downspouts, steel siding, vinyl siding, exterior trim, and flashing.
• Fit and install windows and doors so they are square, level, plumb, sealed, and protected from the weather.
• Measure, cut, position, and finish materials with accuracy.
• Maintain job sites that are safe, clean, orderly, and productive.
• Complete work from ladders, near rooflines, and inside attic spaces when necessary.
• Record hours, materials, and project updates using JobNimbus and QuickBooks Workforce.
• Collaborate with the installation team to finish projects on time and according to company expectations.

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of experience in residential exterior carpentry, remodeling, siding, window installation, gutters, or a closely related trade.
• Strong abilities in measuring, layout, cutting, fitting, and exterior installation.
• Careful attention to detail and pride in the appearance and durability of completed work.
• Dependable, professional, and comfortable working as part of a crew.
• Willing and able to learn digital systems, including JobNimbus and QuickBooks Workforce.
• A valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
• Physically able to carry ladders, work safely above ground level, and enter attic areas when the job requires it.

Compensation and Employee Benefits

• Full-time employment as a W2 team member.
• Pay of $24-$32 per hour, determined by experience.
