Harvard University’s Edmond & Lily Safra Center for Ethics invites applications for the Ethics and Civics Postdoctoral Fellowship housed in the Research & Design Studio. Fellows translate ethics scholarship into practical contributions for academia and public life, collaborating with staff and engaging in seminars and teaching opportunities.

The fellowship is residential in the Boston area, with a potential second year.

Qualifications

• Completed a doctoral degree no more than three years before the start of the Fellowship year.
• Open to applicants from any discipline or professional field.

Responsibilities

• Work with the pedagogy team to develop tools or instructional applications related to research or teaching interests.
• Participate in regular seminars with the cohort and Center.
• Advance individual research projects with support from the Center’s research team.
• Fellows may be invited to teach a Harvard class during the appointment.
