IES Residential in Las Cruces, NM is seeking an Electrical Leadman to supervise a crew of electricians and apprentices on new single-family home projects. The role combines leadership with hands-on electrical work and is hourly, non-exempt, with overtime per federal and state laws.
The Leadman will ensure work meets IES standards, project specifications, and applicable codes, while coordinating with project managers and on-site teams to maintain schedules and quality.
The Electrical Leadman is a working foreman who leads a crew of electricians and apprentices in the installation of electrical systems for new single‑family homes. The role combines leadership responsibilities with hands‑on electrical work. This position is hourly and non‑exempt, eligible for overtime in accordance with federal and state labor laws. The Leadman ensures work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with IES Residential standards, project specifications, and applicable codes.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, and climb ladders for extended periods. Must be comfortable working in outdoor construction environments in Texas weather conditions.
