Dave’s World in Maine is seeking a Journeyman Residential Electrician to perform residential electrical service work, support HVAC operations, ensure code compliance, and serve as the electrical expert for the organization. The ideal candidate has strong residential electrical experience, HVAC knowledge, leadership qualities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Active Maine Journeyman+ electrical license required.
• Residential electrical service and repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of residential wiring methods and codes.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential electrical systems.
• Install and replace panels, breakers, circuits, outlets, switches, lighting, and related components.
• Complete service upgrades, wiring repairs, and system improvements.
• Install EV chargers, generators, surge protection, detectors, and other equipment.
• Perform electrical safety inspections and address code or safety concerns.
• Explain findings and present repair options to homeowners.
• Obtain customer authorization before work begins.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and protect customers' homes.
• Prepare accurate estimates and complete service documentation.
• Ensure work complies with NEC, local codes, and company standards.
