Job summary

Mister Sparky is seeking an experienced electrician in Ohio to install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, outlets, panels, and equipment. We emphasize safety, quality, and customer service.

You will diagnose issues, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with local codes. Mentoring apprentices and supporting team training are part of this role, with opportunities for advancement and a competitive pay structure.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the electrical trade.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety procedures.
• Proficient in the use of electrical testing equipment and hand and power tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with panel replacement, ev chargers and generators.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, outlets, panels, and equipment.
• Diagnose electrical issues and perform efficient repairs.
• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and electrical codes.
• Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
• Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following OSHA and company safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and team members.
• Complete work orders, reports, and documentation accurately and on time.
• Mentor apprentices and assist with training when needed.
