Job summary

Mister Sparky is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our residential service team. You will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in homes and light commercial settings, guiding homeowners through repair and upgrade decisions with clear, customer-friendly explanations.

You will diagnose issues, ensure NEC compliance, log repairs with dispatch software (ServiceTitan), and keep the service vehicle stocked with tools, iPad, and uniforms, while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Residential electrical experience and valid local/state license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Own standard hand and trade tools.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Inspect systems to identify hazards and repairs.
• Installation & Maintenance: Install and repair residential electrical infrastructure.
• Customer Consultation & Pricing: Educate homeowners on repair options with clear pricing.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure work meets NEC, NFPA, and local codes.
• Documentation & Tech: Record repairs, materials, and labor in software.
• Asset Management: Keep tools, iPad, and vehicle organized.
