Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of residential electrical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of residential wiring, circuits, electrical panels, breakers, outlets, switches, and lighting.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems and identify appropriate repairs.
• Familiarity with applicable electrical codes and safe work practices.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and installation instructions.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair residential electrical wiring and systems.
• Install and replace electrical outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and other devices.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and diagnose faulty wiring, circuits, and components.
• Inspect and upgrade electrical panels, breakers, and circuits within scope of qualifications.
• Read and interpret electrical plans and diagrams; ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.
• Communicate findings and recommended repairs or upgrades to homeowners.
