Job Title: Residential Electrician

Job Description

Experience working on large scale custom and tract home new construction, from slab to hot punch and warranty calls. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blue prints. Must be able to install and run all electrical wiring, electrical components and fixtures.

• Work safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, loss of unused material and clean up installation debris.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, schematics and operation/product manuals.
• Maintain communication with customers and project managers to resolve customer issues.
• Daily communication with Manager or delays, requirements, and general status of jobs.
• Work proactively and in a positive manner with all co-workers.
• Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities without supervision.
• Perform some self-training to complete quality installations.
• Complete necessary paperwork in an accurate and legible manner.
• Adhere to company policies including time and attendance, fleet, safety, dress codes, reporting, etc.
• Coach and mentor less experienced electricians.
• Fulfill On-Call rotation responsibilities as required.
• Perform basic vehicle preventative maintenance and keep work truck clean and organized.
• Manage inventory and tools for each job to assure proper parts and tools are on hand.

Proficient in the English language, written and verbal. Must pass background check and drug test. Must have current, valid TDLR License (minimum of Wireman). Must have current, valid Texas Driver’s License. Job is full time and long term and available immediately. Compensation is dependent on your experience and skill set.
