Sure Electric LLC in Marlboro, NJ is seeking an experienced Residential Electrical Technician to join our residential team. This full-time role focuses on troubleshooting and rapid diagnostics, diagnosing failures from interior wiring and panel issues to exhaust fans and lighting fixtures.

You will be the face of our company to homeowners, receiving tools, training, and growth opportunities to advance your career.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of consistent electrical experience.
• Working knowledge of local and National Electrical Code.
• Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to clearly explain technical issues to homeowners and our internal office team.
• Must have basic hand and power tools.
• Maintain a valid and clean driver's license.
• English-speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time and maintain consistent daily attendance.
• Deliver excellent communication and customer service during each interaction.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, install, and repair electrical components in homes and businesses.
• Communicate effectively with our in-office management team to report diagnostic findings, provide updates, and coordinate next steps for repairs or replacements.
• Manage inventory of tools and materials in the company vehicle to ensure high first-time complete rates.
• Collaborate with dispatchers for efficient scheduling and timely communication with customers.
• Document work completed, including photos and summaries, via service software.
