Sure Electric LLC is seeking an experienced Residential Electrical Technician to join our team. This full-time role focuses on diagnosing and repairing electrical issues in homes, coordinating with management, and ensuring quality service for our customers.

Based in Marlboro, NJ, the technician will work onsite, use provided tools, and contribute to a high standard of workmanship with opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical experience.
• Working knowledge of local and National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Ability to clearly explain technical issues to homeowners and office team.

Key Responsibilities

• Arrive on time and maintain consistent daily attendance
• Deliver excellent communication and customer service during each interaction
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, install, and repair electrical components in homes and businesses
• Communicate effectively with our in-office management team to report diagnostic findings, provide updates, and coordinate next steps for repairs or replacements.
• Manage inventory of tools and materials in the company vehicle to ensure high first-time complete rates.
• Collaborate with dispatchers for efficient scheduling and timely communication with customers
• Document work completed, including photos and summaries, via service software

Qualifications

• 3+ years of consistent electrical experience
• Working knowledge of local and National Electrical Code
• Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to clearly explain technical issues to both homeowners and our internal office team.
• Must have basic hand and power tools
• Maintain a valid and clean driver's license
• English-speaking preferred
