Job summary

Lex Air Conditioning, Heating, Plumbing, and Electrical in Dallas–Fort Worth area seeks a Residential Electrical Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and install electrical systems in homes. You will work with a team to deliver safe, code-compliant solutions and communicate clearly with clients.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of residential electrical experience.
• Licensed Wireman or Journeyman Electrician preferred.
• Strong customer service and people skills.
• Experience working in a residential service department.
• Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical service calls, troubleshoot and repair issues in residential homes.
• Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical systems including wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate clearly with clients regarding their electrical needs and solutions.
• Conduct inspections and assessments of electrical systems to identify potential issues and ensure safety.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
• Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient job completion.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards, trends, and safety practices.
