Qualifications

Are you the Residential Director we have been looking for? In this position, you will be able to convey your passion for helping others with a dynamic team by bringing an energetic and positive approach while working with our clients!

Journey Home is an intensive Group Home setting for adolescents that specializes in trauma informed care. Journey Home provides 24-hour comprehensive care including a full clinical staff, nursing staff, and direct care staff.

Due to the nature of our work and the youth who are depending on us, there are times where overtime may be mandated.

JRI Provides The Training So That:

  • YOU will be able to oversight of the Residential Department with the Senior Residential Department members and provide care and treatment of our students.
  • YOU will be able to ensure all Residential systems are being followed and completed on a daily basis and provide on call coverage.
  • YOU will be able to ensure that residential program schedules are well designed and implemented, including adequate time for ADLs, chores, evening and weekend activates.
  • YOU will ensure that the residential admissions process is followed, including orientation to the program routines and rules, and check of belongings.
  • YOU will be able to provide constant oversight of scheduling procedures; staffing ratios are being met at all times and provide accountability and disciplinary action decisions as needed for all Residential Staff.
  • YOU will function as a member of the Administrative Team, providing input into problem solving and process design. Work as a team member, maintain flexible and positive attitude in team process.
  • YOU will be able to lead residential meetings and trainings, and runs residential shifts when needed.

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • 3-5 years in a supervisor/management role in a residential or mental health program required.
  • Oncallresponsibilities, at times you willbe requiredto work overtime.
  • Maintainsvaliddriver’s license as transporting students isrequired.
  • Available to work evenings, holidays, weekend shifts as required.
  • At JRI, you will learn to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for our students!
  • Background and driving record checks will be performed.
