Job summary

PALS OHIO, LLC. provides residential supports in Franklin County for adults with disabilities. The Direct Support Staff role involves hands-on supervision, transportation, and implementing individual service plans in home and community settings.

The schedule is Monday, Wednesday and Friday 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., plus every other weekend. Compensation is $17.50 per hour with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with match after one year, Paid Time Off and Holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School diploma or GED.
• Current Ohio Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
• Criminal Background verification with acceptable clearance.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule and provide responsible supervision and assistance to adults with Developmental Disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Safely provide transportation as needed.
• Ensure all safety equipment is in good working order.
• Responsible for Individual supervision/support.
• Responsible for documentation, including transportation, billing and program documentation.
• Contributes to and attends regular staff meetings.
• Promotes a supportive environment by modeling company guidelines and people-first language.
