Harvard University Dining Services (HUDS) seeks an Assistant Manager to lead a residential dining operation, delivering a welcoming, diverse, and sustainable dining experience for students and faculty.

You will oversee staffing, training, and quality assurance, ensuring safe, clean facilities and excellent customer service. Strong communication and collaboration with stakeholders are essential for success in a dynamic campus setting.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal).
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience leading a front-of-house/hospitality team and coordinating across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead non-exempt service staff to deliver an extraordinary hospitality experience.
• Monitor inventory and cost with FoodPro; ensure assets are well maintained.
• Coordinate with HR and HUDS management to comply with union agreements and policies.
• Provide hospitality training and mentoring to staff and ensure high service standards.
