Job summary

Open Sky Community Services in Massachusetts seeks a Residential Counselor to support individuals in achieving independence in residential and community settings. Residential Counselors serve as strong advocates for the people they support and promote community engagement, self-determination, and meaningful relationships.Other Key Responsibilities:Assist in developing individualized, person-centered service and support plans and play an active role in their implementation.Provide support with daily living activities, skill development, and personal goal achievement.Assist individuals with accessing transportation and community resources as needed.Implement activities that promote community inclusion, relationship building, personal growth, and the development of valued social roles.Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment that promotes the health, safety, and well-being of individuals served.Review, complete, and maintain all required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.The organization recognizes skills, location, training, and program responsibilities by offering additional hourly differentials for certain positions.
