NFI North is seeking a Relief/Direct Care Counselor for our Transitional Housing Service program, Maple Lodge. This 8-bed adult program is located in Bethlehem, New Hampshire. It is a residential treatment and day program with a reputation for providing comprehensive clinical, vocational, and life skills services for adults living with mental illness who are seeking independent living. Many of our participants obtain apartments and attend college with the support of our dedicated staff team.
Responsibilities: Supervise the daily activities of participants, providing ongoing support, guidance, and role modeling. Facilitate participant improvement in areas such as personal responsibility, social skills, medication monitoring and administration, community living skills, and behavior. Assist in facilitating groups and providing transportation to medical appointments. Must be available for all shifts, including nights and weekends.
Qualifications: Associate’s degree, or a combination of training and experience relevant to the client population.
