Job summary

NFI North in Ashland, NH seeks a Direct Care Counselor (Relief) for its Transitional Housing Program. This role supports adults living with mental illness in a residential and day program, helping them build skills for independent living.

Responsibilities include supervising daily activities, guiding participants, and promoting personal responsibility and social skills. Evening and weekend coverage is required, and supportive training is provided.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Humans Services or equivalent combination of education and experience with client population.
• High School Diploma or better.

NFI North is seeking Direct Care Counselors (Relief) for our Transitional Housing Program in Ashland, NH. This program is a residential treatment and day program with a progressive reputation of providing comprehensive clinical, vocational services and life skills for adults living with mental illness that are seeking independent living. Many of our participants get apartments and go to college with the support of our amazing staff team.

Responsibilities: Supervise the daily activities of participants, providing ongoing support, guidance and role modeling, on an as needed basis. Facilitate participant improvement in the areas of personal responsibility, social skills, community living skills and behavior. Must be able to take specific trainings specific to this program. Nights and weekends availability a must.

Qualifications: Associates Degree in Humans Services or combination and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with client population.
