NFI North is seeking a passionate individual to support youth with mental health and substance abuse challenges. The role includes mentoring and fostering healthy relationships while promoting teamwork and personal growth. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, relevant experience, and a commitment to empowering youth.
Oliver Place in Bath, Maine, is one of the many programs operated by NFI North that helps participants with mental health and/or substance abuse issues. We pride ourselves on utilizing our staff's talents to create positive and healthy relationships with our youth.
The ideal candidate can build positive, healthy relationships with participants and motivate youth by helping them recognize and strive for their potential. Candidates should maintain professional boundaries, be active, and engage in sports, activities, and life skills as role models, mentors, and coaches. We seek creative, energetic, positive, independent workers who enjoy teamwork.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree and/or experience in Human Services or related fields, with prior experience working with adolescents preferred.
