Job summary

Acenda Integrated Health is recruiting a PRN Residential Counselor to support adults in our Residential Program. You will promote safety and a supportive environment, working closely with the residential nurse, supervisor and director to implement individualized treatment goals.

The role requires a high school diploma with four years of mental health experience; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Competitive benefits, flexible shifts including overnight and weekend options, and bilingual pay

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; four years related mental health experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in mental health/related field is preferred.
• Bilingual ability is an added value (rate applies) and may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and support in the residential setting for adult clients.
• Collaborate with residential nurse, supervisor and director to implement treatment goals.
• Coordinate referrals to community supports and services as needed.
• Counsel individuals, families, or groups and develop therapeutic plans.
• Maintain respectful, positive relationships with residents and staff.
• Document progress, incidents, and observations accurately and timely.
