Job Summary:
The Residential Counselor II role builds upon the Residential Counselor I position, with increased leadership responsibilities. The staff is expected to fulfill all Residential Counselor I expectations and take on additional leadership duties. The role involves maintaining a therapeutic environment within the residence, ensuring the safety, medical needs, emotional support, and daily living needs of clients are met. The counselor will also participate in developing and implementing reasonable limits and structure for each child, both within the residence and the community, in a fair and consistent manner.
